WSC Urgent Press Release – Planned Major System Improvement Works at the Blue Hills Hydrotower on Sunday December 18th 2016 that Will Result in Low Pressure/No Water for Residents in Parts of Northern, Central, and Eastern New Providence from 11PM to 3AM

Nassau, Bahamas – The Water and Sewerage Corporation (WSC) wishes to advise our valued customers and the general public that we have commenced refurbishment works on our Blue Hills Hydrotower.  As a part of these works, a major system improvement is planned to commence on Sunday December 18^th 2016 at 11AM and it is anticipated that it will be completed by 3AM on Monday December 19^th 2016. We will immediately thereafter commence the re-pressurization of our system.  It is anticipated that full system restoration will be achieved by 6AM on Monday, December 19, 2016.

These improvement works will result in low pressure/no water for our customers in Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern New Providence during this period.
