The Corporation advises the general public and our valued customers that we experienced a major leak on our water transmission main at the junction of John F. Kennedy Drive and Gladstone Road this afternoon (Saturday March 19th, 2016) at approximately 2:30PM.  Corporation teams are presently on site preparing to commence the necessary repairs and the Royal Bahamas Police Force is assisting with traffic control.  With the exception of customers in High Point Estates and the immediate surrounding area, customers should not experience any reduction in their service levels.  Where possible, motorists are asked to avoid the area and if they must travel thru the area, they are encouraged to exercise extreme caution and obey all signs and directions being given by the teams on site.”
