The Water and Sewerage Corporation advises the public and our customers of Shirley Street between (1) St. Margaret Street and Lyon Street, (2) Kemp Road and Essex Street and (3) between Sears Hill Road and Dog Flea Alley that on Sunday February 15, 2015, the Corporation will be conducting on-going water service rehabilitation work.

The route for diverted traffic for Section 1 will be by way of south and east on St. Margaret Street and north on Lyon Street. The route for diverted traffic for Section 2 will be by way of south on Kemp Road, east on Pyfrom Road and north on Mackey Street. Local access and egress to Shirley Street will be allowed when available. The route for diverted traffic for Section 3 will be by way of north on Lover’s Lane, east on Dowdeswell Street and south on Mt. Royal Avenue.

Please follow the displayed traffic management signage at all times. Temporary closure for through traffic on Shirley Street at these three (3) locations will be implemented on the 15th of February, 2015 between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.
