The Water and Sewerage Corporation (WSC) wishes to provide the following update to our customers and the general public regarding the repair of two (2) major leaks in the Yamacraw Area this morning, Sunday October 04th 2015; that has resulted in an extended period of low pressure and/or no water for the residents of the area.  One leak was on Yamacraw Hill Road just west of Palm Cay and the other on Rugby Drive.  The Yamacraw Hill Road leak has been repaired and repair of the Rugby Drive leak is in progress at this time.

The areas affected include Twynam Heights, Leeward East, Winton Meadows, Eastern Estates, Nassau East South, Yamacraw Hill Road, Palm Cay, Port New Providence and Treasure Cove.

It is anticipated that the water supply will be fully restored for all residents by early this afternoon
